SMA Instructions for Firewood Traders

Within the framework of the responsibility we have with the care and protection of the environment, at Bosca we want to share with our customers, suppliers and distributors what was announced on April 28, 2020, in Exempt Resolution No. 651/2020 of the Superintendency of the Environment (SMA) that dictates:

"General instructions on cadastre and reporting duties for holders of the firewood trade related to prevention and / or decontamination plans that are indicated". < / p>

The objectives of this Resolution are:

1- That the holders of the firewood trade affected by the atmospheric prevention and / or decontamination plans (PPDA), register in the system that the SMA will have for these purposes and that they will announce in your web portal in a timely manner. This applies to:

Metropolitan Region, Central Valley of Curicó, Talca and Maule, Chillán and Chillán Viejo, Concepción Metropolitano, Los Angeles, Temuco and Padre Las Casas, Valdivia, Osorno and Coyhaique.

2- That these firewood trade holders report monthly the humidity of the firewood that is sold and other variables of interest, as appropriate.

These measures will allow the SMA to have a unified and updated database with a minimum semiannual periodicity.

The deadline to register in the SMA's national firewood trade registry will be until May 31, 2020.
